ドイツの作曲家ロベルト・シューマンのピアノ曲「トロイメライ」を吹奏楽で楽しみたいと思います。 「トロイメライ」とは「夢」「夢想」を意味しますが、ピアノ曲集「子供の情景」の第７曲で同曲集の中で最も広く知られています。
コンサートはもちろん、中学生、高等学校の生徒の皆さんには是非演奏体験しておきたい楽曲だと思います。
この小品は、美しく親しみやすい旋律のゆえに曲集のなかでもとりわけ有名となり、他の楽器のために編曲して演奏されることも多いですが、素朴な外見にもかかわらず、不規則な拍節法など、ドイツ・ロマン派の性格小品に特有の複雑な書法もみられ、高度な内容をもった音楽となっているので学ぶことの内容も多いと思います。
