In Japan, trumpet is called also "rappa". RaPPar's is Japanese style trumpet ensemble advocated by SUYAMA, Tadami, one of the greatest trumpet player. It includes 10 trumpet players who make good use of a variety of trumpets; piccolo trumpet, cornet and flugelhorn. Their performance obtained brilliant accomplishments at many concert.

This piece "Carmen" originated from a masterpiece by Georges Bizet. RaPPar's sought an ideal vision of bigger trumpet ensemble in their early days and this try was succeed. So this "Carmen" had many chances to be played.
