"La Traviata" (camellia HIME) is the opera Giuseppe Verdi announced in 1853. La traviata where an original title means "corrupt woman (for literal translation, "the woman who strayed from the path")" (La Traviata). It's often performed by the same title of "La Traviata" (free translation of France : La Dame aux camelias (floral lady of a camellia)) as an original work novel "La Traviata" in Japan.

A work is from all 3 acts, Francesco Mary and PIAVE wrote a script based on an original work novel by Aleksandr and Dumas fils. I'm clever and take up a main episode from an original work of a long piece, and it's composition rich in the point. The characteristic of Verdi who doesn't lose the brightness, showiness and forcefulness is also shown most often musically by tragedy, and it's a popular source.

I arranged in a wooden pipe octet this time. It's an excerpt, so they aren't all situations, but I think the characteristic of the original piece of music can be enjoyed. Organization (piccolo flute B♭ clarinet x 3 and alto sax tenor saxophone baritone saxophone)

3 songs were excerpted from the 1st act and 1 song was excerpted from the 2nd act.

Please enjoy a mini opera by a wooden pipe octet!

※ Performance time is different depending on players.
